- To provide educational and informational services to increase awareness of the problems related to alcohol and drug use.
- To teach effective coping skills to prevent substance abuse relapse.
- To stop unhealthy and harmful patterns of alcohol and drug use.
- To improve emotional, family and behavioral problems.
Goals are achieved through a
comprehensive approach to treatment and psycho-education designed to help the client develop
and reinforce the coping skills needed to
achieve and maintain abstinence from alcohol and/or drugs. The services offered to achieve
these goals include:
- Intake/Assessment
- Individual and Family Counseling
- Group Counseling for Adolescents and their Families
- Relapse Prevention Services
- Psychiatric Evaluations
- Random Alcohol/Drug Testing
- Case Management Services
Brief Intervention Services - This service is primarily psycho-educational and will provide twelve (12) weeks of group
sessions for the juvenile along with an eight (8) week educational program for the parents.
Outpatient Individual, Family and Group Counseling - This service provides twenty-four (24) weeks of group counseling
for the juvenile and an eight (8) week educational program for the parents and family / individual therapy as needed.
The program includes a psycho-educational component and relapse prevention strategies.
Relapse Prevention - This service offers twenty-four (24) weeks of group counseling for the juvenile and family therapy as needed.
